I would like to have some comments and suggestion on above topic. Since resourcing industry is growing and being in a resourcing field I feel that resourcing agency's are facing many problems. Please share your thoughts.

s venkatesan | | Hey! my suggestion, is that what is area that you would like to provide consultancy, if you are talking of recruitment, then which is the vertical i.e Industry you want it to be your clients. Do you have contacts in that Industry> One has to be confident, should be able to help in the recruitment process on a free basis, i.e some times to convince a client, should try and take a difficult assignment or the position that has not been filled for long based on that you can ensure you process helps in closing that position. What you can do is you can try it for a year. before the end of the year, you should have
enough contacts and credibility in the market,automatically money will flow in the 2year, but your contact base and credibility is not above 80% then you need to think and decide whether to continue or to
go back to the employment.
Remember for one year you have to blindly take up assignments, do not look at the % of revenue, as long as it takes care of your transportation, time spend etc.
You have to succeed in each assignment, always stick to a vertical i.e. say automobile or IT or Retail or BFSI, etc
then put your heart and soul, you will definitely succeed

To begin with, you will never find the perfect answer to this question untill you start.
Secondly, the time is never wrong if you have your things in place and enough space. I have been personally dealing with Staffing firms and recruitment agencies on behalf of Monster and it has been quite a long time now. I know people who make a lac per month by investing meager 50 thousand a year and people making 10,000 per month by investing 2 lacs per year.
Thoughts or inputs wont help you. IT industry has demand but there are 100 cats running behind 50 rats. Non-IT is good, only if you are bad. (hope u understand)
get your contacts in place, befriend a couple of clients, use your own networking along with job portals and hire a couple of recruitrs who know what needs to be done, even if it costs you 10-12k as their salary, rather than having 5 people working for you for 6k each.

If you feel that you have it in you. Then go ahead.
Human Capital Consultancy is a very broad term.
List down what are you areas that you personally excel. Start with those. then branch out to other.
